Current Opportunities:
Board Members & Committee Members
Experience: No experience necessary, except a great attitude and willingness to ensure our community remains great. Assets include previous experience on a Board; non-profits, grant writing, finance, business, communications, fundraising.
If you are not sure you have the time to commit to a Director position we are always looking for enthusiastic members to join various committees! For specific position descriptions please click HERE
Commitment: 2-5 hrs/month
Journalist / Media
Role:: Taking pictures, interviewing, reporting, writing articles, designing graphics, social media updates.
Commitment: As much or as little as you would like to give.
Community Events
Role: Help plan or volunteer at community events such as CAP, Halloween Dance, Winter Carnival, Neighbour Day, etc.
Commitment: Flexible – could be just a couple hours at an event flipping burgers or more if you like!

The Willow Ridge Community Association proudly serves the communities of Willow Park and Maple Ridge. We are always looking for volunteers to join the board or even just to flip burgers at a community event. Throughout the year we have a variety of events and activities that depend on the support of our community members. Helping out for a few hours at a BBQ or Family dance, or joining the rink team to ensure our ice is in great condition are all a part of helping to enrich our great communities.
