President’s Message – March

First – a huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our February Winter Carnival and all the volunteers and staff who made it happen. We had hundreds of people show up to skate, curl, enjoy horse rides, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy a beautiful winter day with neighbours. As we look towards spring, we see an extremely busy season of new projects beginning at the WRCA. A few highlights of projects we’ll be undertaking this year include rebuilding the playground on 99th avenue, installing a new sign in front of our building, (hopefully) expanding our parking, installing benches in green spaces throughout our community, adding a new mural to our sea can, completing our building elevator, and more! We live in an amazing community and our Community Association is proud to help invest in making it even better. We’ll be sending out specific updates on the many exciting things we have planned for 2023, and you can get a sneak-peak into the details by attending our upcoming Annual General Meeting on Wednesday April 5th at 7pm. None of our projects would be possible without volunteers, so stay tuned to see how you can be part of the action!
