Kourtney was elected to council on Oct 18, 2021. She has contributed to many community building initiatives in the city, including where she resides in Ward 11. As a mom with school aged children and with parents and grandparents in the city, she understands the need for neighbourhoods to balance the needs of residents across the stages of their lives.
Before being elected, Tyler was a lawyer with a long history of public service, as a member of the National Parole Board, the Municipal Government Board, the University of Calgary Senate, and the Calgary Police Commission. He and his wife, Andrea, have two boys, ages 9 and 10.
On April 3rd, 2017, Stephanie Kusie was elected as the Member of Parliament for Calgary Midnapore. She won the riding with a decisive margin, earning 77.2% of the vote. She speaks English, French and Spanish fluently. Stephanie enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband James and son Edward.
